A little thought…

Chatted with some friends last night, a funny thought or a conclusion came out from our conversation.

He actually, simply described human life in a few sentences.

~When we were babies, we are put into the day-care centre.
And when we aged, we were sent to the senior/nursing house.~

Some people may disagree or say you are not treating your children/parent well because you put them in one of those places.
However, I guess our generation may be so used to this kind of lifestyle that, we were put into day-care by our parent, and when our parent aged, guess what, we just do the same to them, but just putting into senior/nursing house instead of the day care only.

We are constantly put in some places that have four walls and isolated from our close ones.
The boomers nowadays have lots of burden on their shoulders, like a “sandwiches” that they have elderly above them and children below them.  They are way too “busy” with their own lives that they could not take care any of them.

Question to think about is:
- Is there anything more important than your family?
- How were the previous generations deal with this, when no day care/nursing home existed?
- Is it the correct way to treat your parents who are aging?

*p.s. personally, I dislike those two places; because first, I worked in those two places, and secondly I just don’t like to be separated from my family members at al.
