~Finding a perfect one~5

So I am still browsing and looking for a perfect cup for myself
it is either I couldn’t find one or I have found too many cup that I really want to have 12-1.gif image by hellokamkitty

So again I browsed online and I find the following one

glass cup and saucer

Look at shape
I love it

I like glass so I can see the tea and the color
Enjoying a cup of tea not only enjoying the taste
but also the visual effect as well

If something doesn’t look good at all
You don’t even want to spend time with it

Also most of the time they are either in glass but in a squre shape or small size

This is a perfect size and I love the shape and the glass
Can’t find anything to resist not to have one

I found this cup from this website:

 http://www.teapigs.co.uk/

Afternoon tea for two

Now it is selling in two sets and not only enjoy a cup of tea by yourself
I love the packaging
So cute
Also they come with the tea
Look at the tea bags

Lychee Black tea

27 02 2008

Lychee Black Tea

Picture from flickr – silkway

Went to another friend’s house and she offered me Lychee Black Tea

Even before I took a sip
I could smell the tea already
Very refreshing &
Taste really good Just like eating a lychee into your mouth
My friend said it smells like Jasmine though
I guess I like the smell better than the taste coz it feels like Spring…soo sooo nice

Anyway it is a good cup of tea~~

Little Info:Lychee is a tropical fruit which I thought I can only have in Asia during summer

Surprisingly now they even make it as teaLychee is good for digestion and stop dehydration

however if you eat too much it would cause gum swelling and nose bleeding as well as sore throat
for some people they may suffer from hypoglycemia
Have little bit is good
019.gif image by hellokamkittyJust don’t eat excess, okay?good.gif image by fatfatfamily

I want one more cup of  lychee tea please~~~~

Teashirt

26 02 2008

I like beautiful things
I like good stuff

This tea maker…..Hm~~

Not only looks good
but also has a special function -

you can choose whether to have tea with tannin or not

The other thing I like is the teashirt
Yes, not t-shirt but teashirt

The tea shirt is to keep warm but also protect your hands when you pour the tea out

the tea maker as I have read from the website got several awards. WOW

I found that not only the teamaker has a good design but also the products of evasolo are also nice~~

25 02 2008

Back to blogging today

Didn’t blog last few days
But I still did check out things about tea and tonight went to a friend’s house
my friend bought Stash herbal tea sampler tonight and asked me to try it out 087.gif

Honestly
So far…other than the English Breafast tea (not the decaf ones) I am not fond of this brand that much yet t1453c590cbc354gz2.gif

Yet something changed my opinion on this brand

I tried the bluebery herbal tea

Decaf or not decaf…

21 02 2008

Seriously….
You ought to be kidding

DECAF!!!!

img_7741

When I am frustrated with one of my soci mid term study!!!gg7.gif image by fatfatfamily
I just realised the tea that I bought was DECAF!!
Why would this happen when I need caffeine most!!!
I HATE DECAF!!!

My emotion status:

 –> Can’t believe it
–> Why there is only DECAF I could choose from Safeway
–> I am craving for Caffeine!!!

–> Why on earth, there is such a thing called Decaf!!

–> Wrong decision that I made to change brand (Coz Twining doesn’t have DECAF!)

 –> Fine, I surrendered.

 –> Suck it up, pal!

Month of Love ~ Are you or are you not my…?

19 02 2008

Valentine’s Day just passed

However
this month is still a Month of Love to some people

I was thinking about how tea and love can be related  other than Valentine’s Day (Tea)
This time I saw something really funny/interesting on the internet

There is an idiom in English said, “You are not my cup of tea…”

Why? Why it has to be tea
not you are not my cup of coffee
or you are not my cup of
           … water
            …latte
or …cappuccino?

Sounds negative right?

But some wedding planners from mimigift used this idiom (turn it slightly) for their clients’ weddings
In a wedding, it is common to give gifts in return to your guests
so here is the gift called, ”We have found our cup of tea”

Isn’t it a great idea?

It is a rose bud tea, even better

Enjoying a cup of tea – tea bag

18 02 2008

Valentine's Blend Tea and Gifts

Picture from Harney & Sons

I remember in order to call a dish as a good dish it requires the following components in it:

Color
Smell
Taste

 So as tea

aebcf162.gif

When you buy tea nowdays, most of the packing looks like the ones above
The first time I have ever seen one like that is from Mighty Leaf; the Vanilla Bean that I tried and mentioned in previous entry

Not only the tea tastes better than with this kind of tea bags
but it also makes the whole experience better

With the look of the tea bag
I enjoyed my tea even better
It is a biodegradable tea bag/infuser
made out of polylactic acid material dervide from cornstarch and
the tea bag is made into a little silken bag

The reason that using these tea bag other than the traditional ones is because
these tea infuser/bags/silken bag can contain a whole, full tea leaf which the traditional cannot
also, it allows all tea leaf to bring out their flavours fully

To be thankful

17 02 2008

Suddenly felt so depresst1453c590cbf266ux2.gif
Staying at home alone today
Don’t want to talk or see anyone today at all

But I know I can’t stay like that for whole day
So I browse online and I find this clip
The pictures teach me different way to thinkt1453c58d2145a2ws2.gif

It is so good that I want to share

so bad that the words are in chinese
so I typed into English here
enjoy the music and the picture

The simplest way to be happy is to be thankful

I am thankful that

Slide 1: Every night my loved one always fight with me with the blanket, that means he/she is not with someone else

Slide 2: Kids who always watch tv and not doing any household, that means he/she is being good and stay home and not wandering outside

Slide 3: I pay tax means I have a job

Slide 4: The clothes that I wear getting tide, that means I eat well

Slide 5: I see my shadow when I am working, that means I have a sun to enjoy

Slide 6: The grass that needs to be done, the windows that needed to be clean, and the drain that needed to be repaired means I have a home

Slide 7: We have lots of complaints to the government means we have a freedom of speech

Slide 8: We found and parked our cars at the further spot in the parking lots means we can still walk and we are fortunate to have a car

Slide 9: An expensive electricity bill means we are fortunate to own an air conditioners and enjoy using it

Slide 10: I heard a lady behind me who sings out of tune in the church on Sunday, means I have the ability to hear

Slide 11: I got tons of clothes to be washed, means I have clothes to wear

Slide 12: I feel tired and muscle hurting at the end of the day, means I have been working hard and have the ability of working hard

Slide 13: Every morning, I woke up by the alarm clock, means I am still alive

Slide 14: At last, my mail box full of emails, means I have lots of friends that are thinking about me

Look at the positive side!

The pictures are done by a Taiwanese artist whose pictures and stories become so famous in Asia and some of them have made into movies, check his website out

http://www.jimmyspa.com
I’m thankful that I could taste different kind of tea
I’m thankful that I found something to cheer me up when I am depressed
I’m thankful that able to have time to enjoy the story while I am having a cup of lemon tea

Stash tea

16 02 2008

Well I didn’t notice that the tea that I bought is from Stash tea
even though I drink everyday when I go  for lecture (if I don’t bring my own one)
I quite enjoying this cup of tea

My usual drink is English Breakfast
the reason that I kind of enjoy this cup of tea is because I just realised that the tea still taste good after one hour even though it is cold

I was surprised because the one I got Twining at home
you don’t even want to taste or drink it if you leave it for long
Still, the Stash English Breakfast tastes really good
Have a strong taste of the tea

So i decided to check out the Stash teaStash English breakfast vs Twinning English Breafast

Simply not tea – 1

13 02 2008

Yuanyang is simply not tea
Because it is a mixture of tea and coffee
it can serve as hot or cold

Love it! becoz I am a person who cannot drink hot coffee (becoz I will have stomache or headache, but I really love the taste and smell of coffee)

this drink not simply coffee, it is mixed with tea, so while enjoying the tea, it still allows me to have a taste of coffee
just little bit
Yum yum, tasty!

This drink is from and very popular in HKNow, I could have it on campus as well, becoz it is also a kind of tea that serve in Tai Wan as well
So good, the only bad thing is just a little bit too sweet

One more day ’til Valentine’s Day

Do you know 2 – Where you come from?

12 02 2008

I just realised that now I am absorbing more info and reading more about tea, so I decided to open another category which is more about general fact of tea, “Do you know 123?”

So another question that I had for tea is, “Where do the tea are produced or come from?”
I was reading the book about Tea at Chapters one day, I was amazed where do tea come from.
But the book is too expensive for me to buy, and now I just able to find the map in the internetS7.gif image by fatfatfamily

Of course, the book has a little bit more info…but I guess the one is good enough for me to start.

Of course, it is obvious when I think abou tea, first two countries that pop into my mind is China, (Chinese tea), and Japan (Green Tea), I was amazed there are more countries produce tea except North and South America….(WOww!!)

Check this website out, more info about the tea that each country produce.
