Two leaves and a bud

Goji Berries Green Tea

So in previous blog entry, I said I was going to share the tea that I used in my wedding.

I decided to go with Two leaves and a bud because they have packed in sachets where as the other tea brand that I would like to use, they just have loose tea leaves and it is way too much to do for wedding days, if we going to package it ourselves.

I have chosen a few which have no caffeine  in it just as an option so that guests won’t stay awake all night long (haha).

One of the flavors that my sister chose was Tropical Goji Green Tea.

My sister made the tea and brought one to the table at the reception.
The aroma just so good that actually make me feel really relax (you know as a bride, usually get nervous….etcetc)

Goji actually goes really well with green tea.  The taste is not that sweet, but it has the sweetness from the fruit I believe.  The green tea is fresh and not bitter where sometimes some green tea do taste a little bitter or strong.  This is just neutral.

Goji, many people would just think that it is just a kind of fruit.

But it acutally has lots of benefits to the body.

- Improve eyesight and memory

- Boost your immune system

- Protect your kidneys

- Heal headaches and dizziness

-  Improve circulations

- Use in patients who have cancer

- Prevent arthritis

-  Lower stress and anxiety level

- Reduce morning sickness for pregnant women

- help digestion

- strength the heart

- improve sexual functions

- longveity

- control blood sugar level and control diabetes

So there are tons of benefits of having goji.

I don’t know how much the tea will do, but I guess if the tea taste good, and it has goji in it, I don’t see there is a bad point of drinking this tea.
