Well the series of Finding a perfect one now has gone to #7 now.

I guess I have been searching for a perfect one for a long time that I still haven’t bought one, but at last, I found it a week ago.

The mugs below actually I have seen it this summer, but I wasn’t sure is it what I really want, but  I can now yes, because I can share it with a special person.

This is called the Lovers Mug, they are made in Korea.

I love them a lot, especially the writings on the mug, make me laugh a lot.  So one for me and one for that special person who is willing to share the savored with me.

I guess this is the greatest gift for couples.

HO HO HO!

It seems that I haven’t updated my blog for a long time.
I hope that there are still people checking this out as I would like to share what I have found lately, especially in this season, in this time of the year, Christmas.

As you may know that gift exchange is something that you can ignore or avoid during Christmas, so in the last couple of days I was hunting for some Christmas gift that I don’t know who will I give to, boy or girl, young or old, active or quiet people…..so I have to find something that may be suitable for anyone.

I am not an expert of anything,  I only know about tea more than the people around me, so I guess the only option that I have is buying a special mug.

Remember the other mug that i have introduced early this year from Three Potatoe Four?

I have found one in the shopping centre on Sunday which is similiar type.

Pretty nice,they got a few different ones, but I choose this one which I think it fits for girls or guys.
Plus it has green and red colors, the seasonal color.

I got 20% discount! (YES!!)

Wanna keep this one for myself so badly (becoz you can put the teabag on the top of that thing)

So I am still browsing and looking for a perfect cup for myself
it is either I couldn’t find one or I have found too many cup that I really want to have

So again I browsed online and I find the following one

Look at shape
I love it

I like glass so I can see the tea and the color
Enjoying a cup of tea not only enjoying the taste
but also the visual effect as well

If something doesn’t look good at all
You don’t even want to spend time with it

Also most of the time they are either in glass but in a squre shape or small size

Enjoying a cup of tea – tea bag

I remember in order to call a dish as a good dish it requires the following components in it:

Color
Smell
Taste

 So as tea

When you buy tea nowdays, most of the packing looks like the ones above
The first time I have ever seen one like that is from Mighty Leaf; the Vanilla Bean that I tried and mentioned in previous entry

Not only the tea tastes better than with this kind of tea bags
but it also makes the whole experience better

With the look of the tea bag
I enjoyed my tea even better
It is a biodegradable tea bag/infuser
made out of polylactic acid material dervide from cornstarch and
the tea bag is made into a little silken bag

The reason that using these tea bag other than the traditional ones is because
these tea infuser/bags/silken bag can contain a whole, full tea leaf which the traditional cannot
also, it allows all tea leaf to bring out their flavours fully

Went shopping yesterday and this thing grabbed my attention for awhile.

 

It is a tea maker.

Tempting to buy one; someone said it could be my birthday present

So last time I have introduced a tea shop in NYC that the major theme of it is Alice in the Wonderland right?
So guess what I have found this time.
The tea cup that has Alice in it, but it is not from that shop.  However it is also from NYC.

So nice.
It is in black and white, not colorful, if it is too colorful it probably would hurt my eyes.
I love the drawing.

Designers are so clever that could accommodate different tea lovers’ needs.

It is $32 for this set from Three Potato Four (I love this shop)

Finding the perfect one ~ 3

The more I am looking for the ideal cup, the harder the decision I ought to make.
So hard. I went to Starbuck to see do they have any new cups selling, so sad, their stuff is good, but I think now I am being more picky after I have seen so many designs…. So hard….

So I saw another two mugs online today…one of them is selling already, another one needs to pre-order!!
It won’t come out until Feb. this year.

1. On Off Mug

It looks so cool~ I like it….especially if I had this cup, I won’t “burn” my hands off…or my tongue…
coz I always burn tongue….half black half white color may indicate whetherI can drink now or is it aR good temperature to drink…so I won’t burn my tongue all the time or drink the tea in a hurry.

2. Radiator mug

This is the one that is on pre-sale now
Well, may be it doesn’t look attractive by its outlook, but wait until you know its function.
The fins on the cup would not burn your fingers when you hold a cup of hot drink.

They both sell @ US$ 25.
If a normal cup/mug sells about the same price from a certain big brand name company…
and it sells at such a high price just becoz of the name, why not buy something that with specialy design, function on it and the look of the cup is good or with special design…

The designer I think it is from Britain again.

Oh…i found another one…

So last time I introduced a new gadget or tea cup from UK, this time is from Tai Wan.
This cup is sooo cool!!!

1. The button on the cup – the function of it, is to hold the tea tag of the tea bag, so it won’t swing.

Recently I am looking for a good tea mug/cup for myself…
I love white color, because I like everything to be clean…all my utensils are in white color…..

But I am getting a bit bored with this cup now…
wanna to buy a new one…i don’t care it is a cheap or expensive cup…as long as I can enjoy my cup of tea, then it is a great cup…

In order to make a good cup of tea, you need:
1. Good Teapot
2. Good Tea cup
3. Good Teabag/tea leaves
4. Good Teastick which I mentioned in the last entry

and now I need to add another item on my “To Buy List” which is Teatool (Tea strainer) after the Teastick

I just realised,there are so many things have been invented to make our life easier just because we WANT to have A GOOD CUP OF TEA!!

- handle the teabag easily,
- conveniently,
- don’t make a mess in your kitchen or wherever you are having the tea….

New gadgets – The Teastick!!

I really don’t like to have tea leaves floating around in my cup of tea…so I mostly use the tea bags

People said there are differences between having a cup of tea that with tea bags or tea leaves…(Hm..does it taste differently? I don’t know…)
But I have found a solution that I don’t need to take tea bags anymore.

It seems that people are trying to promote the tea culture now. 
People may think that tea is only for old people, but no, look at the teastick, it looks so trendy, ‘fashionable’, well to me, at least I think it is cool, it is great!!!

I don’t like tea infuser or tea balls, because past experiences told me that it is not easy to clean or dump the tea leaves.
To me this teastick is much better when dealing with tea leaves
+  easy to use 
+ not expensive to buy one
+ not only works as a infuser but also can work as a stirrer
 
I am gonna order it now and have a try!!! coz there are more flavour or types of tea that are not selling in the form of tea bags…I really want to try them….so i ought to buy a teastick.
